We had a very slow start to Sunday, breakfast and then a lounger by the pool at the hotel. Sunday brunch is a big thing here and our relaxation was serenaded by a four piece band playing sultry easy listening.
Gordon had to go talk to them of course as they were using at least 1 piece of Roland kit.
For lunch we jumped into the jeep (roofless of course – it’s about 80 degrees) and drove to downtown where we had a nice lunch at the American Bistro. They were serving endless champagne/mimosa’s for $5 a glass, so my dry January ended a little early. Besides, it doesn’t feel the least bit like January!
After lunch we walked around a little and then finding Gordon a latte became an urgency, if not emergency. On the green by the MarIlyn statue we met Lee, a Local artist. We bought one of his “babies”.
We moved hotels in the afternoon back to The Riviera where we stayed last year (for reasons why read my trip advisor entry).
Had a fabulous evening sat round a fire pit drinking Margeuritas at the hotel
